Beautiful Parks in Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara is one of California’s incredibly beautiful cities. It has a gorgeous and lush geographic aspect that is completely enjoyed by residents and loved by tourists when they visit the city. In addition to the great beach areas, the city has some fabulous parks that not only provide opportunities for great outdoor activities and some fun sports experiences, but also host entertainment events and festivals. Hotel room rentals tend to increase during the summer months and so do the amount of activities in the city and its parks, though Santa Barbara is beautiful all year and maintains a popular attraction rate throughout the seasons.
Elings Park is one of the busiest of Santa Barbara’s parks. It is popular for friends, couples and families and enjoys a diverse population of visitors and an assortment of events and activities. From dog training classes, to big races and soccer games, outdoor sports and recreational events are a standard feature of this park. It is also one of the popular wedding locations in the city and the park is perfectly accommodating to these major
romantic events. Shoreline Park is one of the great beachfront parks in the city. It is also one of its most popular. The park is situated on beautiful bluffs that overlook the beach and harbor below. There are nice picnic and barbecue areas, which offer great views of the Channel Islands. This is a popular spot for whale watching and visitors can enjoy the Japanese garden that is also featured there. Plaza del Mar is one of the oldest parks in the city and can be found just across the harbor. There is a nice pool with grassy areas and large shade trees. The Santa Barbara City College uses this for sports practice and events.
