Picasso and Dali Exhibited at Spain’s National Museum in Madrid
Jolie wasn’t planning on falling in love this fall. In fact, she thought she may never fall in love again. However, when her best friend Amber convinced her to take a trip to Spain together, she had no idea that she was about to encounter a major life changing event, succumbing to love. As it was, she had ended a seven year relationship due to circumstances that need not go into detail here, it is enough to say things didn’t workout and that Joe, her boyfriend, was not a nice person. That relationship ended six months ago and though Jolie has been set up a couple of times and has experienced what many people would consider to be a rebound affair, she had no intention of ever falling in love again, or at least not right away.
And then Amber had to come along and insist the two of them go to Spain together. Amber sensed that Jolie was still suffering from her breakup with Joe and wanted to get her away from everything and she figured that a week stay in one of the five star Madrid hotels would be just the remedy. And although Jolie was reluctant to agree and took some convincing by Amber, now she could not imagine her life without having experienced Madrid, where she met Vincent.
It happened on their second day in the city. They decided they would have a relaxing day and visit the Museo Reina Sofia, which is Spain’s national museum for twentieth century art, and then later they would decide how to spend the evening. Both of the women were amazed with the great works of art they found including pieces by Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali. Jolie stood looking amazed at Picasso’s Guernica when someone accidentally bumped into her left shoulder. Excuse me, said the soft spoken Vincent. It seems he had lost his sense of balance while looking amazedly at the painting. Their eyes met and that was all it took. It was a real life example of non compromise-able love at first sight. In fact it went a bit further, it really seemed as if the two of them actually already knew each other. When Amber found them a few minutes later she could not mistake the energy emanating from the couple and knew it was stronger than what might have been brought on by one of the paintings.
