On Broadway New York

Many people have difficulty finding something to do in New York. Okay, wait, did you read that right? No way, no one has any trouble finding the absolute best of entertainment and cultural options in this city right? Yes, of course, though the first sentence must have grabbed your attention, which is exactly what the advertisement billboards and posters of the greatest Broadway productions wish to do. So, at least we have this much settled in enjoying certain aspects of New York City. In addition, and what may be against popular belief, is that it is also easy to settle another aspect of the city, and that of course is the ability to get around in it. New York City car hire companies, taxis, the subway and various other options make navigating this city among cities a simple endeavor. Well, if not simple, at least manageable.

Now that these basic situations are established, we can return to what New York is all about, great theatre. Some of the major offerings Broadway and Off Broadway, as well as the greater New York area theatres are currently producing include hit musicals, great revivals and the latest and greatest in comedy and drama. At the top of the list for many patrons is the new arrival of a production of Hamlet, staring Jude Law as the melancholy prince. This show will begin previews tomorrow, Saturday September 12, 2009 at the Broadhurst Theater. Jersey Boys is also continuing its highly successful run at the August Wilson Theatre. Having opened in November of 2005, this show remains popular with audiences and has also had a successful touring company production. Mama Mia! is the enormously popular disco musical the focuses on the music and career of the phenomenally successful Swedish band ABBA. Having opened in October of 2001, this musical continues its successful run at the Winter Garden Theatre. Whatever your theatrical interest may be, New York has a production that will satisfy your taste.
