Scottsdale, located in greater Phoenix, Arizona, has a flourishing arts and cultural scene. The city includes over 125 art galleries, museums and associated art events. One of these locations is Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts which is located in downtown Scottsdale. Many art forms are represented here including theater, dance and musical concerts, art shows and other types of unique performing arts productions.
Close by is the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMOCA) which includes exhibitions throughout the year. Also located in downtown Scottsdale is the Scottsdale Arts District which includes a multitude of fine galleries hosting all types of artwork.
Scottsdale has a public art program which displays art throughout the city. You can come across works of art in many settings across the city. There are also many other types of artistic and cultural events held across the city including music and dance.
Scottsdale has many service types of businesses for visitors including medical facilities such as Mayo Clinic and Scottsdale Memorial Hospitals as well as many urgent care centers. There are many types of doctor in Scottsdale and family dentists in Scottsdale too.
Scottsdale is home to many sporting events including golf, tennis and baseball spring training.
