What’s law on celebrity defamation?
Q: We’re in the media business. In addition to providing publicity, we arrange speaking engagements and public appearances for our well-known clients. Sometimes newspaper and magazine reviews of these events print false information and outright lies to attract the attention of their readers. Tabloids do this as a standard business practice. What legal recourse is available?
